About National Web3 Women's Day

Amplifying the voices, contributions, and leadership of women in Web3 — builders, artists, founders, investors, and community leaders.

Mission

Break down barriers, open doors, and create an accessible platform for women of all levels to be seen and heard.

  • Visibility. A global stage where women in Web3 are spotlighted as the innovators they already are.
  • Inclusion. First-time speakers and established founders share the same chance to participate.
  • Connection. Bridges across DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and everything in between.
  • Celebration. Honor the resilience and trailblazing energy women bring to Web3.
  • Legacy. The Web3 Women's Ledger — a directory so projects can hire, collaborate, and support women directly.

Vision

A future where women are not just present in Web3, but recognized as architects of its most important innovations.

  • An annual tradition growing from national to international recognition.
  • A living archive of women's voices — Spaces, recordings, NFTs, and collaborative content.
  • A movement that inspires the next generation into decentralized technologies.
  • A permanent ecosystem of support through the Ledger, where talent meets demand.

Why October 11

Binary progression. 1 → 0 → 11.

In binary, 1 is on and 0 is off. Together they are the foundation of every digital system. 11 is the next step — the first time the digits move beyond a single place. Evolution. Growth. A new beginning.

Choosing 10/11 reflects that progression: from the foundations of tech to the era where women are at the forefront of the decentralized future.

October 11 is also the UN International Day of the Girl Child. The date ties the event to a larger narrative — from recognizing girls' potential to spotlighting women leading in Web3.

Toward International Web3 Women's Day

The next phase is a unified global celebration across blockchain, AI, and emerging tech — regional hosts, multi-language access, an international speaker network, and events that honor local culture while keeping October 11 as the global day for women in Web3.
